The European Regional Development Fund is helping the North West to overcome social and economic obstacles to create a vibrant, prosperous and competitive region. The ERDF has provided significant funding to Kingsway Business Park and is supporting Kingsway in its objective to bring the greatest possible economic benefits, to Greater Manchester and the North West at large.

One specific and valuable area of support funded by ERDF which benefits the local community is the Kingsway Recruitment Team (KRT). The Team has been created to ensure local people get the maximum benefit from the thousands of new jobs that will be created on Kingsway.

Another valuable source of Kingsway funding is the UK Government's Neighbourhood Renewal Fund. The NRF is a special grant which has been made available to England's most deprived Local Authorities and is designed to help them to improve services for their communities and to narrow the gap between them and the rest of the country.

Specifically in relation to Kingsway, the NRF funds finance Kingsway's training grants funds and also three posts within the Kingsway Team who are working to bring maximum benefits to the Borough of Rochdale.
